Detailed Product Description

     Green Lotus Hotel, located in the world-famous holiday resort Yangshuo, is adjacent to the river bank of scenic Lijiang River, with a floor area of 40,000 square meters and over 380 rooms. It is the luxurious 5-star standard hotel with various facilities for recreation, holiday making, conference etc.

     The hotel asks our system can provides cooling and heating in summer and winter respectively as well as 24-hour hot water. To reduce energy consumption and promote environmental protection, the hotel commissioned us to design a water source heat pump green central air conditioning system. Relying on the rich water resources of Lijiang River as the systems heat absorption and discharge source, the system is designed to efficiently provide cooling, heating and hot water supply for the hotel. The water used by the chiller units is discharged into the Lijiang River through the scenic waterfall in the hotel.

    The project scheme achieves the following purpose:

(1) Make full use of the rich renewable water resource nearby Lijiang River, reduce the dependence on purchased energy to evade the impact of fluctuation in market supply and price, so as to guarantee the operation of hotel business.

(2) The design adopts the latest renewable energy source technology to achieve zero pollutant emission and protect the scenic environment in Yangshuo. As a typical case in which hotel contributes to the environmental protection cause, the project greatly enhance the hotels

image. Meanwhile, is has received great support from related departments of Yangshuo government. 

(3) Comparing with traditional central air conditioning system, our design is expected to annually save RMB 1,200,000  and approx 300 tons diesel oil.

(4) With simple design and high integration as well as compact size, our system greatly reduces the staff required and maintenance cost.

    Other advantages for our client:

1,  The project saves the space originally reserved for cooling tower. After being approved by the government, the hotel added two floors with a total area of 2,000 square meters and 50 rooms in the place of cooling tower. This improvement is expected to increase the hotels annual income by approx RMB 300,000 on top of getting rid of the noise and vapor brought by the cooling tower. The environment surrounding nearby rooms is greatly improved as a result.

2, Repair 400M² boiler heat supply station and operators house to commercial use

3, The client requests us to reprocess the water that has been used by the chiller units into domestic water for the hotel. The client estimates: this will annually save up to RMB 360,000 from water expenses.

4, The client requests us to transfer the water that has been used by the chiller units to the scenic waterfall. The client estimates: this will annually save up to RMB 66,000 from water and electricity bills.

    The project was put into operation in October 2008. Undoubtedly the water source heat pump central air conditioning and hot water supply system will yield the hotel substantial economic benefits.  Meanwhile, it will serve as a milestone as the hotels endeavor to support environmental protection causes.
